Benlomond Cottage is a large period property located one mile from the pretty market town of Narberth in Pembrokeshire, South Wales. With three spacious bedrooms sleeping seven guests and a generous wrap around garden it is the perfect self-catering cottage for families wanting to explore this pretty corner of Wales.
The quirky town of Narberth is a delight at any time of the year. It's pretty High Street is lined with boutiques, independent shops, pubs and cafes and there is a weekly producers market every Friday. When you have finished pottering around the town you can lace up your walking boots and explore the miles of beautiful footpaths nearby. With a golf course, Narberth Museum, the Cwn Deri Vineyard, Picton Castle and Gardens, Oakwood Theme Park and Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo also just a short drive away, there is something for all ages and interests.
For those who want to feel the sand between their toes, the beautiful Pembrokeshire beaches of Saundersfoot and Tenby are just a twenty minute drive away. With a choice of three Blue Flag beaches it is hard to beat Tenby for a traditional bucket and spade day by the sea. Try a spot of fishing from the pretty harbour, or take a boat trip to Caldey Island. Just three miles north, the large sandy beach at Saundersfoot is also likely to be a hit with big and little kids alike. The shallow water makes it ideal for swimming, or have a go at sailing, windsurfing or canoeing. If you are looking to catch some waves, head to Newgale just thrity minutes away on the west coast where you can hire boards and enjoy a lesson. With other fabulous beaches such as Barafundle Bay, Broad Haven and Freshwater West all close by you could easily visit a new beach each day of your holiday. If you are looking to appreciate the stunning sea views without actually getting in or on it you should tackle part of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. Stretching from St Dogmaels to Amroth and covering 186 miles you certainly won't run out of walks this holiday.

Outside: The large wrap around garden is perfect for the kids to let off steam or relax with a glass of wine on the patio on a sunny evening. There is an outdoor table and chairs and barbeque for alfreso dining. Off road parking for four cars on the drive.
Additional information: WiFi, bed linen, towels and utilities included. The television within the property is not connected to satellite or aerial, guests have free access to Netflix via Amazon FireStick during their stay. The owners can accommodate one extra child under two (cot and high chair are provided). Please note that the owners have a small allotment at the back of the main garden, this is fenced off from the main property and has its own separate access. No pets and no smoking.
