About The Coach House

The Coach House is a stylish conversion featuring everything you could wish for in a dog-friendly self-catering cottage in Pembrokeshire. It comfortably accommodates six guests in three bedrooms with a modern decor that appeals to families and friends. It's in the quiet hamlet of Honeyborough adjacent to the town of Neyland, a few miles from Milford Haven and within walking distance of the Rose & Willow pub, cafes, takeaways and shops. There are dozens of beaches and popular attractions within half an hour or less, making it the perfect place for a holiday at any time of the year.

Neyland’s history dates back to the days of Isambard Kingdom Brunel, whose statue is near the marina. Brunel chose Neyland as the place from which people would travel to the New World having arrived there by rail from London. He was responsible for the construction of the largest railway station in Wales; the station serviced the Irish Packet Service which operated for 50 years, closing in 1906. In 1964, Neyland railway station and its accompanying lines fell victim to Dr Beeching’s axe and was closed. The site was redeveloped in the 1980s into what is now an award winning Marina. Guests can walk or cycle from the Marina on the Brunel trail which follows the old railway line as far as Haverfordwest.

Milford Haven is a lively town with plenty of amenities: go shopping, have lunch, sit beside the waterfront with a drink or a picnic and watch the boats going up and down the estuary. There is a museum, theatre, bowling alley, sightseeing cruises and harbourside walks. Highlights of Milford Haven's long history include Lord Nelson and Lady Hamilton, and the New England Whalers. You can learn more about the role it's played in significant events along the waymarked Heritage Trails.

Pembrokeshire is famous for its breathtaking beaches. Spread your beach towel out on the sandy shores of Little Haven, Broad Haven, Freshwater West, Barafundle Bay, Freshwater East, Newgale, Whitesands, Druidston, Marloes or Manorbier. Walk along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path whilst taking in stunning vistas of cliffs, coastline and gorgeous beaches. Local attractions include Folly Farm, Oakwood Theme Park, Pembroke Castle, St David's Cathedral and Carew Castle. You can spend time at the Farmer's Market in Haverfordwest browsing antiques in Narberth or visiting gorgeous gardens in Tenby. Surfing, paddleboarding, windsurfing, coasteering, sailing, and fishing are easily accessible, as are golf, mountain biking, and horse riding.

Fill your days with fun and adventure, or settle down in the sunny courtyard garden with a parasol and the papers. The choice is yours when you stay at The Coach House. For larger groups, why not also book our sister cottage The Barn, it's right next door!
