Prescelly View is somewhere special. The luxurious property sits at Pembrokeshire's very heart, within half an hour from south-west Wales’ best beaches, towns and attractions, with unbroken views across gorgeous Welsh countryside to the beautiful Prescelli Hills. The spacious house sleeps eight guests in four bedrooms and has an indoor swimming pool and sauna, and a hot tub outside. The layout is ideal for large families and groups of friends to socialise and have fun, yet still provides quiet places for calm, relaxing moments.
Llawhaden village is two miles from the cottage and easy to reach whether you walk, cycle or drive. The romantic ruins of Llawhaden Castle sit on a hill above the town and have far reaching views towards Narberth and Haverfordwest. There is a course fishery run by champion angler Ian Heaps, and it is close to both Clerkenhill Adventure Farm and the Blue Lagoon Waterpark which provides family fun all year round. Oakwood Leisure Park is also close.
Prescelly View is five miles away from Narberth which offers a good range of amenities including shops. The town has an active artistic community with evidence of their skill visible in galleries and on the walls of local businesses. There are excellent independent shops and boutiques and a variety of cafes, pubs and restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets. Narberth is only a 20-minute drive to the famous beaches and harbour at Tenby. Between the two towns is Folly Farm, offering a fantastic day out for the family with lots of to see and enjoy, including an indoor Victorian funfair and helter-skelter along with animals ranging from the everyday to exotic.
St Davids feels like a friendly, artistic village rather than the city it is due to its stunning cathedral. Don’t miss at least one trip here where you can sit in the sunshine (or not - it is Wales!) and enjoy locally produced ice-cream as you overlook the cathedral and the ruins of the neighbouring Bishop’s Palace.
The staggering natural beauty of Pembrokeshire attracts people from every corner of the world, keen to take on the challenge of walking the 186 miles of coastal footpath (or just part of it!). The Prescelli Hills are also a favourite place for walking and also offer fun for mountain bikers as well. Unlike beaches in the south-west or south-east of England, the pristine beaches in the Pembrokeshire National Park rarely feel crowded. Local beaches are only a 15-minute drive from the house, with no beach in Pembrokeshire being more than half an hour from the door.
Prescelly View is a great holiday home where you can completely relax and make holiday memories to last a lifetime.
