The Old Stables is located just a stone's throw from the delightful village of Giggleswick and quaint market town of Settle where you will find an excellent selection of pubs, cafes, restaurants and shops, including a weekly market. Hop on board the Settle to Carlisle heritage railway where you will cross the famous Ribblehead Viaduct whilst enjoying stunning views across the Yorkshire Dales National Park. If you are looking to work up an appetite for a leisurely pub lunch or afternoon tea there are plenty of stunning walks and bike rides through the rugged moors, gentle meadows and river valleys. Keen walkers can tackle one of the Yorkshire Three Peaks whilst mountain bikers will love the cycling tracks in Gisburn Forest. The Lake District National Park, Bowland Fells and Howgills are also accessible for a day out in the hills.
Other attractions nearby include the amphitheatre shaped Malham Cove, the show caves at Ingleborough Cave, Bolton Abbey and the Scaleber Force Waterfall. The pretty town of Skipton is also a lovely spot to browse independent shops, stock up on supplies on market day and visit the medieval castle. Accommodation Comprises:
Delightful studio apartment that has been recently refurbished and tastefully decorated to provide comfortable accommodation for two guests. There are a number of steps both internally and externally making it unsuitable for guests with limited mobility.
Outside: The owners live opposite but the studio is entirely self-contained with a private patio with garden furniture and off-street parking for one car.
Additional Information: All utilities, superfast WiFi, bed linen and towels are provided. Strictly no under 18's. Smoking and dogs are not permitted.
