Oaklands Spa Retreat feels like it was created especially for your luxury hen weekend or family celebration. In fact, it was, with this big holiday home designed and furnished for comfort and fun. Set close to Huddersfield, in Holmfirth, you and your guests can enjoy spacious living areas, a cocktail lounge, an outdoor hot tub, and space for 12 people to sleep in seven beautifully furnished bedrooms. The house has everything you could need, and it's possible to have a fantastic time without stepping outside the gates. However, should you feel the urge for a night out, you're only a ten-minute stroll from The Lounge's excellent cocktail menu, cafes, restaurants and takeaways.
Older visitors may recognise Holmfirth as the backdrop for Last of the Summer Wine. If you're a fan, don't miss the exhibition of photographs and memorabilia in Compo's House or the stroll to Sid's Cafe and Nora Batty's steps from the house. Holmfirth has lots to offer, from the weekly Thursday market to the mix of vintage cars and antiques in the Carding Shed. The village is a jewel in the crown of the gorgeous Holme Valley, an area renowned for its natural beauty and wealth of birds and wildlife. Eight miles away, Huddersfield has a great variety of shops and other amenities. Attractions include the Whistlestop Valley scenic railroad and steam trains, Beaumont Park, and Marsden Moor. Go for a walk, jump on a bicycle or go all out and hire a vintage car to tour in style. Knowing your busy day can always end with a soak under the stars in your private outdoor hot tub will add even more pleasure to your days.

Outside: You'll love spending time outside. Move with the sun, spend time on the lawn or the patio and enjoy far-reaching rural views. A pagoda-style shelter protects the hot tub so you can use it in all weather. The courtyard has parking for up to seven cars.
Additional Information: Utilities, WiFi, bed linen and bath towels are included. Well-behaved pets are welcome but please enquire before booking. Smoking is not permitted indoors.
