Set on a working cider farm, this beautifully restored stone cottage blends historic character with modern convenience. Inside, the holiday home features a cosy lounge with a TV, a bespoke, fully-equipped kitchen, and charming French doors leading to a private patio complete with a hot tub. The two bedrooms upstairs have high ceilings and a spacious, peaceful environment. Outside, you’ll find ample parking, a BBQ area, and everything needed for a relaxed countryside stay with up to seven guests.
There are several excellent pubs nearby, including The Hatch Inn and The Farthings Hotel, just a short walk or cycle away, making it easy to enjoy a tasty homecooked meal with minimal effort. You can also walk to The Canal Inn, Wrantage, along footpaths from your accommodation across fields for lunch or dinner. The area is perfect for those who enjoy walking or cycling, as it has numerous paths and trails to explore, starting with the East Deane Way that passes through the farm.
Further afield, you’ll find plenty to explore around Somerset. The scenic Blackdown and Quantock Hills offer stunning hiking and cycling routes, while Exmoor National Park and the dramatic Jurassic Coast make for fantastic day trips. For something a little different, nearby attractions like Cheddar Gorge, Glastonbury, or historic National Trust properties like Hestercombe Gardens provide a mix of culture and outdoor adventure. Rose Cottage is one of four luxury holiday cottages on the farm that accommodate between two and seven guests. Each cottage is fully private and self-contained for couples and small groups. Depending on availability, it's possible to book more than one holiday cottage for multiple families.
