Bedrooms
On the ground floor there is one twin room and a large double with super king size bed which splits into two singles. There are two toilets with seperate shower rooms on the ground floor, as well as a utility room with washer, dryer, an additional fridge and iron and ironing board.
On the first floor there are five further bedrooms. One has a double bed and four have super king size bed which can be split into two singles. There is an shower with seperate toilet and a large family bathroom with a walk-in shower and bath.
There is a large garden and a south facing veranda, running the length of the building.

What to do during your stay
Dunster Castle (12mins) is an ancient castle and country home with dramatic views and subtropical gardens. The medieval gatehouse and ruined tower give a reminder of this castle’s turbulent history, existing since at least the Norman times.
The Valley of Rocks (1hr) is a U-shaped dry valley parallel to the sea, well known for feral goats, jagged cliff edges and unusual rock formations and caves.

We are delighted to have a great relationship with Golden Retriever Experience (10mins). (The GRE), a family-run attraction close to Croydon Hall which provides the opportunity for you and your friends and family to have a personal encounter with a delightful pack of trained Golden Retrievers.
Minehead’s historic harbour (20 minutes) is a great spot for fishing and water sports, and the town has a lovely sandy beach too. There are other beach locations all around, but the closest to Croydon Hall is Blue Anchor beach (10 minutes) – and if you’re lucky, you might just find fossils while searching through the rockfalls.
If you fancy a sip of the local brew, visit Torre Cider Farm (10 minutes) to see where they grow, harvest, press and bottle their ciders before settling in for a taster glass of a range of ciders.
Those who like an active holiday might like to visit the moors and hike or pedal along the Two Moors Way between Dartmoor National Park and Exmoor National Park. Pick your way across the ancient clapper bridge before setting joining the route from Tarr Steps (40 minutes’ drive).
Wimbleball Lake (25 minutes) is another watersports haven, but if you’d rather stick to dry land, just head to the West Somerset Railway (Washford) station (10 minutes), where steam trains will whisk you off on a scenic ride. The Coleridge Way, a 50-mile long-distance walking trail heading into the Quantock Hills, runs past the back of the Williton station for those who want a real challenge.
