Hunter's Moon offers a unique and unforgettable holiday experience. The beautiful house has been skilfully constructed to create a sumptuous retreat where up to ten guests can sleep in four comfortable bedrooms, cocooned in luxury and surrounded by an acre of private grounds close to Glastonbury. Myth and legend spring to life in this magical environment with a tree standing proudly at its heart, where families and friends can feel like anything is possible. The house includes a 30-foot cinema room which twinkles as brightly as the stars when dark and modern touches sitting harmoniously beside original features, such as the fireplace which dates back to 1580. There is nowhere like Hunter's Moon and no time like the present for you to enjoy it.
Call it alchemy - and many have - but there's an undeniable magnetism that pulls people to Glastonbury and holds on to their hearts long after their holiday is over. Whether you visit for the legendary music, extensive history, gorgeous landscape, or the friendly community with its fantastic choice of independent shops, cafes and pubs, Glastonbury offers something for everyone in every season. Walk to the top of Glastonbury Tor for panoramic views which, if you do it at sunrise, will more than repay the effort of a (very) early start. Another must-see is Glastonbury Abbey - a site which has been a place of pilgrimage for thousands of years, not only for Christians but for pagans and Celts alike.
You won't have any trouble filling your days with fun and excitement when you stay at Hunter's Moon. Day trips can include visits to Wookey Hole or Cheddar Gorge and Caves. Spend a leisurely afternoon admiring the tiny city of Wells and its magnificent cathedral, or go shopping in Frome or Taunton. Bath and Bristol are both within easy reach, each offering a fascinating past and plenty of shops and places to eat and drink. Also nearby are specialist museums like the Fleet Air Arm Museum and the Haynes International Motor Museum.
Somerset is stunning in every season so make the most of the landscape with a walk or a bike ride, hiring a bike in Glastonbury if you haven't brought yours with you. Climbing and caving area two more favourite ways to enjoy the scenery, or take your pick of more than 40 golf courses.
Hunter's Moon reflects its natural surroundings so well that you could comfortably hunker down for the duration, making the most of the beautiful gardens that include an outdoor hot tub. It is the perfect setting for your fairy tale holiday.
