Fieldgate Farmstead is perfect for big groups. Whether you're hosting a family reunion, accommodating guests or a wedding party, or planning to celebrate a milestone event, the late Georgian farmhouse and beautifully converted barn in Bampton near Shap is an ideal destination. There is space for 30 people to sleep in 15 stylish bedrooms, each with spectacular views over the surrounding countryside. The northern Lakeland fells are a favourite for walking and mountain biking. You're close to the River Lowther for fly fishing, and to Penrith, Carlisle, Ullswater, and the Scottish border for sightseeing. The farmhouse can be booked on its own for smaller groups of up to 16 people. 

Meadow View is positioned in a tranquil setting on the edge of the National Park, between Keswick and Penrith, within a small group of similar lodges. It is four miles from the village of Greystoke, with a traditional country pub and shop. This very comfortable Scandinavian style lodge, with a wood burning stove, has floor-to-ceiling windows providing extensive open views over the countryside with Blencathra in the distance. It is a haven for wildlife, including red squirrels, rabbits and many species of birds. 

Morland House is the much-loved ancient family home to the Markham family and a member of the Historic Houses Association.  Now carefully updated to provide comfortable accommodation for up to 19 lucky guests across nine bedrooms. Curios and artefacts in every room.  Oak panelling and open log fires add to the magical atmosphere as guests step back in time. The picturesque village of Morland is nestled in the scenic Eden Valley, situated between the Lake District and the Pennines. The charming market town of Penrith and Ullswater, gateway to the Lakes, are both just 15 minutes away.  Hadrian’s Wall, and the Pennines are further afield. The four acres of gardens, laid out in Victorian times around Morland Beck,  are renowned both for the formal upper gardens, with lawns and herbaceous borders, and over the little river, a wonderland of secret paths complete with grotto and quarry garden where nature runs riot - and dogs can run free.  Perfect for treasure hunts, games of hide and seek  or just peaceful reading in a private corner. There is a secure private garden for guests which is a natural sun-trap for al fresco meals and also a safe play space for small children (and dogs!). Those of a competitive nature can battle it out on the Croquet lawn or the Billiards table. There is a separate catering kitchen if guests prefer to hire a cook for the special dinner (meaning the rest of the party can use the main kitchen with no constraints). 

Carleton House is a spacious period holiday home two miles from Penrith and just five miles from Ullswater. It's recently been fully refurbished inside and out to provide very comfortable accommodation for families and friends. It sleeps up to eight people in four bedrooms and is child and pet friendly. The location on the edge of Clifton village is perfect for exploring the Lake District, Forest of Bowland, Yorkshire Dales and Hadrian's Wall. Carleton House is available for holidays all year round. 

4 Mell Fell View is a beautiful holiday cottage with fantastic views of Little Mell Fell, Great Mell Fell and Helton Fell that surround Lake Ullswater. The owners have carefully restored the 17th Century property to provide very comfortable accommodation for four people with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It is in the quiet Lake District village of Penruddock, close to Ullswater, Keswick and Penrith and within walking distance of the excellent Herdwick Inn. The cottage is dog-friendly and available all year round, providing a lovely holiday home for families, friends and couples.

Fieldgate Barn sits in Bampton's quiet Lowther Valley and is a 16th-century stone barn that's been transformed into a holiday cottage for 14 people plus two extra children.
