About Sunnyside Apartment

Sunnyside Apartment is the perfect choice for couples (and single travellers) looking to explore the Cotswolds and many attractions of Central England. Sleeping two guests in a double bed, the ground floor apartment is located in the peaceful Gloucestershire village of Toddington within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with a friendly pub, The Pheasant Inn, and village shop within a five minute walk.

Toddington sits in the north-west of the Cotswolds and has many of the areas attractions within each driving distance. The historic market town of Broadway with its independent shops and Cheltenham with its famous race course are close by. Winchcombe is even closer and just 5-minutes away offering good pubs, coffee shops and attractive timber framed buildings that add to the charm of the setting. Centuries old Sudeley Castle is also located at Winchcombe. Dating back as far the 1400s, it is a must to visit with its fascinating house, gardens and chapel which is the resting place of the first Baron of Sudeley and his wife as well as Catherine Parr, King Henry sixth and final wife.

If country houses are your thing, then you should also add Snowshill Manor and Stanway House to your holiday itinerary, as well as Blenheim Palace which has a busy calendar of events throughout the year and is less than an hour's drive from the cottage. The birthplace of William Shakespeare is even closer with Stratford-upon-Avon being 30-minutes drive.

There is plenty to keep you happily occupied when you stay at Sunnyside Appartment. The Cotswolds is full of historic old market towns and picturesque little honey-coloured villages just waiting to be explored like Stow-on-the-Wold, Burton-on-the-Water, The Slaughters, Chipping Campden, Moreton-in-Marsh, Burford and Broadway.

The scenic landscape also has a wealth of wonderful opportunities for walkers and cyclists with an extensive network of footpaths including the famous long-distance Cotswold Way which passes through the village.

Sunnyside Apartment offers single-level self-catering and affords lovely countryside views.

  • As you enter the apartment the sleeping area is to the right with a short wall to give it the feel of a separate area. This has a double bed and wardrobe for clothes storage.
  • A short hall-way takes you past the door into the shower room with another door leading into the living area.
  • Completely separate to the bedroom area and access via a door, the open-plan living allows you to make the most of the lovely views. A comfy sofa, armchair, foot-stall and 42 inch LED television are set in front of the large glass doors.
  • At the back of the living space is a stylish well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, electric oven with hob and extractor over, washing machine and dining table with two chairs.
  • The stylish modern shower room is fully enclosed and accessed via a door off the hallway. It has a walk-in cubicle, heated towel rail, wash basin and WC.

Outside: A patio with table and chairs provides a lovely place for sitting out in the sunshine and soaking up the views. Guests have off-street parking.

Additional Information: All utilities, WiFi, bed linen and bath towels are provided. One small dog is welcome by arrangement. Smoking is not permitted.
