Broad Iron Cottage is in the heart of the glorious Worcestershire countryside. It's perfect for couples, families or friends as it comfortably sleeps up to four people in two bedrooms, each being on a separate floor and having its own bathroom. The cottage is close to the pretty market town of Pershore and only ten miles from Worcester, so it's also ideal for anyone who wants a home-away-from-home while in the area for work. Broad Iron Cottage is next to the owner's other holiday cottage, Varden House, and the two can be booked together to accommodate extended families or groups of friends.
Pershore is a picturesque town beside the River Avon with excellent amenities, a beautiful medieval abbey, and an impressive number of Georgian buildings that reflect the town's age and prosperity. It has the sort of historic charm you'd expect from a traditional English market town and a regular market that's open every Wednesday to Saturday. Learn more about the town's history at the Heritage Centre in Town Hall before walking to the bridge to see the scars of the Civil War. There's a bigger choice of places to eat, drink and shop in Worcester, as well as a cathedral, museum and art gallery, and exciting nightlife thanks in part to the university.
Rural Worcestershire is a delight in any season. Broad Iron Cottage is close to Tiddesley Wood which covers 185 acres and is one of the oldest sites of its kind in England. It's stunning in spring when bluebells carpet the floor, when the wild pear and plum trees fruit in summer, with the gorgeous colours of autumn, and in the low winter sunshine. The Malvern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty are about half an hour's drive from the cottage, with miles of footpaths and mountain bike trails, and horse riding is also widely accessible.
Local attractions include Ragley Hall Park and Gardens, National Trust's gem, Hidcote, and the All Things Wild nature centre. The cottage has excellent access to the M5 which means that Cheltenham, Gloucester and Birmingham are between 30 and 45 minutes away, as are Stratford-Upon-Avon, Warwick Castle, and Royal Leamington Spa.

Broad Iron Cottage is a stylish Victorian barn conversion in a quiet location with access to fields and a fishing lake. Accommodation is over two levels.

Outside: The cottage has an undercover rear patio with a table and chairs. BBQ available. There's also a big level area of lawn that's shared with the adjacent cottage, and off-street parking with EV charging via a Zappi with a Type 2 cable.
Additional Information: All utilities, WiFi, bed linen and towels are included. There is an additional cleaning fee of £35. One well-behaved pet is welcome through prior arrangement. A cot (no bedding), highchair and stairgate are all available on request. Smoking is not allowed.
