About Marine Point

Marine Point is a modern holiday apartment set above Mevagissey, sleeping five people in two bedrooms with a layout that suits families with older children and friends. Wide coastal views stretch across St Austell Bay and shift constantly with the light and the tides. Positioned within the Nare Court development, the holiday home feels calm and well considered, with contemporary interiors that reflect its seaside setting without leaning on nautical clichés. Oak detailing, limestone flooring and carefully chosen artwork give the space a polished but relaxed feel, while large windows draw your attention straight out to the water. The open-plan living, kitchen and dining area is arranged to make the most of the outlook, whether you're sharing meals, reading quietly or simply watching boats move through the bay. Not only is Marine Point wonderfully comfortable, but it's also within a relaxed stroll of cafes, restaurants, and pubs like The Fountain Inn.

A short walk downhill brings you to the centre of Mevagissey, a working fishing village with a long and lively history. The harbour remains the focal point, with small fishing boats still landing their catch and supplying the village's seafood restaurants. Narrow streets lead past independent shops, galleries and cafés where you can sit and drink in the view with your latte. Despite its popularity, Mevagissey has retained a strong local character, supported by its museums, aquarium and regular community events that celebrate the village's impressive maritime past.

The South West Coast Path runs directly through the village, offering rewarding walks in both directions. Head south towards Portmellon and Gorran Haven for sheltered beaches, or north towards Pentewan with expansive views across the bay. Inland, the Lost Gardens of Heligan are just a few miles away, while the Eden Project sits within easy reach for a day out. Charlestown and Fowey make appealing nearby destinations, each with its own distinctive harbour setting. This holiday cottage in Mevagissey provides a comfortable and well-located base for exploring Cornwall's south coast at your own pace.

Accommodation Comprises: Spacious and modern self-catering apartment for five guests.

  • Entrance Hall: Welcoming hallway with space for coats, shoes and walking gear.
  • Open-Plan Living / Kitchen / Dining Area: Light-filled living space with panoramic coastal views, comfortable seating and a dining table for five. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, a hob, a dishwasher, a microwave and a coffee machine. Smart TV for relaxed evenings indoors.
  • Study Area: Dedicated desk space positioned near a window, suitable for remote working if required.
  • Bedroom One: Super king-size bed with pocket sprung mattress, storage and Smart TV, plus an en-suite shower room with walk-in shower, WC and basin.
  • Bedroom Two: Super king-size zip-and-link bed (can be arranged as twins), pocket sprung mattress, Smart TV and gorgeous coastal views.
  • Bedroom Three: Single bedroom with a pocket-sprung mattress, a Smart TV, and wardrobe space.
  • Family Bathroom: Contemporary bathroom with bath, overhead shower, WC, and basin.

Designated parking for one vehicle is available at the property. A waterfront balcony with unimpeded sea views has outdoor seating.

WiFi is available throughout the apartment. Bed linen and bath towels are included. The property is non-smoking and does not accept pets. Due to the layout, Marine Point is not suitable for children under nine years old. Short breaks may be available outside peak periods.
