Once the home of celebrated artist Samuel John Lamorna Birch, traces of his creative legacy remain throughout the property, adding to its charm and sense of place.
Recently refurbished to an exceptional standard, the interiors blend calming sage greens, warm creams and elegant gold accents to create a stylish and inviting atmosphere. Thoughtfully designed throughout, the studio offers a cosy yet luxurious space where guests can unwind, recharge and enjoy the slower pace of Cornish life.
Step outside and you'll discover one of the property's most enchanting features. The private hot tub and sauna sit amongst the trees overlooking the stream, creating a spa-like sanctuary where you can relax after a day exploring the coast. Watch kingfishers dart across the water, listen to birdsong from the woodland canopy above and enjoy a glass of wine beneath the stars.
The enclosed outdoor terrace is ideal for guests bringing dogs, providing a safe and secure space to relax. There's also a barbecue for leisurely summer lunches and relaxed evenings spent dining outdoors in complete privacy.
Although wonderfully secluded, Birch Studio is surprisingly close to some of Cornwall's most beautiful attractions. Lamorna Cove and the famous Wink Inn are just a short walk away, while Mousehole, Newlyn and Penzance are all within easy reach. Please note that Birch Studio sleeps up to four guests. Accommodation comprises a king-size bedroom, a small sofa bed in the living area and a mezzanine reading nook. The property is intentionally compact and full of character, with the lounge, dining and kitchen areas combined into one cosy open-plan space. The shower and washing facilities are located within the bedroom.
