The luxury Cottage at Trepenpol is set in the grounds of one of the historic town houses of Hayle and is within 10 minutes drive of St Ives yet without the problem of parking and bustle of St Ives. It is completely private with its own sheltered garden and on site parking. There are two bedrooms that sleep up to three people. The Cottage at Trepenpol is ideal for couples or small families.
Hayle Towans has three miles of golden sand beach stretching up to Godrevy Point with a coastal footpath leading along the dunes at the edge of the beach with stunning panoramic sea views as the backdrop. In the other direction the South West Coast Path leads you to St. Ives, passing Hayle estuary, Lelant, Porthkidney Sands and Carbis Bay. The beautiful estuary is rich with birds and wildlife and fantastic footpaths going along the coast and through the countryside.
Hayle is situated on the north coast yet only 15 minutes drive to the south coast. There are the usual amenities for food and holiday shopping in Hayle. Local attractions include St. Michaels Mount, Minack Theatre and the pretty coastal fishing villages of Mousehole, Newlyn and Porthleven. St Ives is within 10 minutes drive or a 10 minute “park and ride” rail trip on one of the most picturesque lines in the country.
West Cornwall is a “foodie haven” with many renowned restaurants. There is a comprehensive list of recommendations in the Cottage, which has been compiled by the owners and added to by many of our visitors. Many are within walking distance of the cottage.

Accommodation comprises:
The accommodation is appointed to a very high standard with limestone flooring on the ground floor and fully carpeted upstairs. On the ground floor French doors from the living area open onto the patio.
The open plan downstairs living area has comfortable seating and a wall mounted television which leads into a luxury kitchen with Miele appliances. There is a built-in electric oven and an induction hob with extractor over as well as a large fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. There is an insinkerator for food waste disposal. The kitchen also has a dining table and chairs.
A separate utility area houses the washing machine and tumble dryer. This area leads into a luxurious fully tiled limestone bathroom by Villeroy and Bosch which includes a bath, shower over, wc, handbasin with light mirror over and a heated towel rail.
Upstairs there is a master bedroom with King size Vi-Spring bed, bedside tables, wardrobe, chest of drawers and a TV with DVD with views over the garden.
The second bedroom, also with views over the garden, has a single bed, chest of drawers, matching bedside table and a built in wardrobe.
Outside: the private sun trapped terrace garden is at the front of the cottage, bordered by shrubs and plants, and has a selection of seating and a barbecue. There is off-road parking for one car.
Additional information: Rental includes all utilities, WiFi, bed linen and towels. Guest to supply own towels for the beach and swimming. A cot (no bedding) and a high chair are available on request. Smoking and pets are not permitted. Sorry but no short breaks in summer season.
