For water lovers, there are good opportunities for kayaking, sailing and river cruises on the River Orwell and River Stour, along with lovely riverside walks. Alternatively, explore the coastline with its many delights including Aldeburgh, Dunwich, Southwold, Thorpeness, Orford and Snape Maltings to name just a few. A trip to Minsmere RSPB Bird sanctuary is also a must!

Outside: There is a covered Garden Room with your very own huge, private hot hub. Robes and slippers are provided and there is an ice bucket with stand for that ultimate luxurious touch. Plenty of parking available for guests who have their own fully enclosed large garden which is private with lawn and patio area including garden furniture and barbecue - an ideal place to unwind on a summers evening and enjoy alfresco dining. Guests are also welcome to use the communal grounds which provide a pleasant place to relax with mature trees surrounding the pond which has a decking area where you can sit and enjoy a 'sun-downer'!
Additional information: Up to three dogs are welcome to stay as the cottage has wooden floors and a fully enclosed garden. Bikes are available (no extra charge) as is bike storage. Guests receive a delicious local breakfast basket upon arrival (and a doggie treat for your four legged friends!). Short breaks of two nights minimum are available all year round. Prices include linen, electricity, heating and towels. Friday, Monday and Sunday are normal changeover days.
