Situated in a private picturesque rose-filled farmhouse garden, the Granary, with its own pretty pond, provides a beautiful space to sit and relax with a coffee or glass of wine and enjoy the peace and quiet of the area. Garden furniture and barbeque are all provided. The property also has private parking and a separate utility room with a washing machine for guests. Please, note that smoking or vaping in the Granary is strictly prohibited.
The Granary lies within walking distance of 60 acres of the village set aside land, perfect for dog walking and watching the local wildlife, whilst the quiet country lanes offer some enjoyable cycling routes too. Thorndon has a small shop for everyday essentials and a friendly village pub serving food and local beers, all within a short five-minute walk. The historic little towns of Eye, Debenham, and Framlingham are just a few mile's drive away. Other Suffolk attractions within an easy drive are the steam museum and plant nursery at Bressingham. The medieval market city of Norwich offers a beautiful cathedral, castle and museums in addition to a theatre, cinema and a host of shops and boutiques catering for every taste. Alternatively, The Granary is a scenic 30–40-minute drive from the Suffolk coastal areas of Southwold, Aldeburgh, Walberswick, RSPB Minsmere, and fish and chips at the beachside cafe at the National Trust's Dunwich Heath.
