Little Haven sleeps two guests and is a cosy bolt-hole for couples in the sleepy Derbyshire village of Two Dales on the edge of the Peak District National Park. Ideally located a short distance from the popular towns of Matlock and Bakewell, the village is surrounded by woodland and rolling hills and has a great local butchers, traditional village inn for eating out and shops including a convenience store for stocking up on provisions. The Plough Inn is on the doorstep and Barrington's Pub and Restaurant is also within walking distance (ten minutes) - no need to cook on holiday if you do not wish!
Bijou and full of charm, this delightful little cottage provides everything needed for a romantic break, including an afternoon tea to welcome you upon arrival and plenty of thoughtful decorative gestures. You step into the cosy open-plan living area with plenty of space to cook, relax and dine which leads into a king-size bedroom with luxury mattress dressed with crisp linen to ensure a restful night's sleep.
Two Dales is a haven for wildlife and an excellent holiday choice for outdoor enthusiasts. For walkers, you will struggle to find a better location with spectacular walks from the cottage, along with direct access out onto the open moorland of the Peak District National Park from not far outside the village. There are also miles of trails and country lanes for cyclists to explore in the area, as well as plenty of great days out for the less active including Buxton and Bakewell - famous for its pudding, along with popular Chatsworth Stately Home and Haddon Hall.
The Peak District is home to some of the UK's most beautiful countryside and spans some five hundred square miles across several counties. Attracting holiday makers from all over the world, it is famed for its exquisite natural beauty and diverse landscape of dramatic peaks, rolling dales and picture post-card villages.
