About Hall Cottage

Hall Cottage is situated in a quiet position in the village of Baslow in the centre of the Peak District. Sleeping 2-4 guests, this luxury 2 bedroom holiday cottage is perfect for couples, friends or families with older children. Enjoy a relaxing stroll to the Prince of Wales pub, or one of the popular village restaurants, or treat yourself to a night out at the award winning Fischer’s at Baslow Hall, just a short drive away.

This friendly village is a great base for exploring the Peak District's many impressive attractions. Chatsworth House is just a 15 minute stroll down the hill from Hall Cottage, and it is also convenient for Haddon Hall and the shops and lively market in Bakewell.

Hall Cottage is ideal for walkers. Arguably, the best way to explore this beautiful countryside is to lace up your walking boots, and take to the hills and valleys. With off road parking, choose the stunning walks at Baslow and Curbar Edge which can be accessed from the front door, or just a few miles drive away is the spectacular Hope Valley and Ladybower Reservoir. If you are looking to try something different you can head to the world famous Blue John Cavern at Castleton where you cannot fail to be wowed by the magnificent stalagmites and stalactites deep underground.

The Peak District is stunning during every season. Not only does a holiday at Hall Cottage provide you with exceptional comfort and a cosy home away from home, but you can enjoy stunning walks right from the door, as well as some of the area's most spectacular scenery and favourite sights, just a few miles away.

Hall Cottage is tastefully decorated and furnished to a high standard.

Downstairs:

A cosy living room has everything you need for a quiet night in with two sumptuous sofas, a sound system, digital TV, DVD and Wifi. Snuggle up by the log burning fire as you watch your choice of TV or films.
Well equipped kitchen / diner has everything you need for self-catering including a built in electric hob and oven and a great selection of kitchenware and crockery.
An extending dining table comfortably seats between four and six guests.
Enjoy breakfast or a relaxed cup of tea in the adjoining conservatory which has a sofa, bistro table and chairs.

Upstairs:

Light and airy master bedroom with a king size bed, Egyptian cotton linen and towels, wardrobe and chest of drawers/dressing table.
Second bedroom with a double bed, Egyptian cotton linen and towels, wardrobe/drawers/dressing table.
Family bathroom with a shower over the bath, WC, handbasin and vanity unit.

Outside:

Pretty south facing patio area with BBQ, outdoor table, seating for four and a sun umbrella. It's the perfect spot for alfresco dining! There is off street parking for one large car.

Additional Information: Utilities, Wifi, bed linen and bath towels are included. The owner regrets they cannot accommodate pets or children under eight years old. No smoking.
