Dating back to the 18th Century and formerly used for storing corn, The Haybarn now provides superb family accommodation and has an abundance of lovely original features including beamed ceilings.
Presented to a high standard throughout, The Haybarn sleeps four guests (or five with the use of a fold-up bed). The spacious kitchen is fitted to a high spec with granite worktops and is fully equipped with a washer/dryer, dishwasher, oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and Nespresso coffee machine. Enjoy breakfast or supper looking out of the French doors which provide glorious views!
A separate, cosy lounge also has superb views and is equipped with a wood-burning stove (biomass), television, DVD, CD and Bluetooth speaker.
Stairs (with open tread) lead up to the landing area which leads off to an impressive king-size master bedroom with a lovely sense of space created by the high vaulted ceiling with roof trusses that are exposed. The cottage has a modern deluxe bathroom with over bath shower, hand basin, toilet and towel rail.
A separate, second bedroom has two single beds (which can be made into another king-size double by arrangement) and also a folding single bed for an extra person. This cottage easily accommodates two couples but its quirky layout (i.e. the second bedroom accessed via the main king-size bedroom) makes it well suited for families, particularly with little children.
Outside there is a small paddock, garden furniture, picnic table and BBQ.
