Rosemary Cottage is a beautifully restored Norfolk holiday home in the coastal village of Sea Palling. The love lavished on the refurbishment is evident in every room, from the fitted wooden flooring to the oak ceiling beams. It's wonderfully welcoming, with space for seven people to sleep in four bedrooms, a private garden, and off-road parking. Families, including those with dogs, love it here not only for the accommodation but also because it's within a short walk to a fantastic sandy blue flag beach as well as shops, a waterfront bar, and other village amenities.
Sea Palling is a brilliant place for a seaside holiday. Nestled quietly between the more prominent and better-known resort towns of Cromer and Great Yarmouth, it's handy for popular sights and attractions without suffering from summer holiday crowds. Dogs are allowed all year round on the Blue Flag beach, which is only 400 yards from the door and close enough to pop back if you need to grab lunch or take a nap. The sheltered water is excellent for swimming, SUPs, jet skiing and kayaking. A mile south of Sea Palling, Waxham beach is well-known for its seal colony - a winter walk along the coast to see the seal pubs is quite the experience! Horsey and National Trust Horsey Windpump are also nearby, the latter having stunning panoramic views of the Broads from the top.
Days here can include sunbathing and swimming on the beach, long walks and bike rides through the countryside, and sailing along the incredible landscape known as the Norfolk Broads. Half an hour away, Cromer is well-known for its iconic Victorian pier that stretches 151 metres into the sea with plenty of traditional seaside entertainment, including a theatre. Seafood lovers should not miss the opportunity to sit by the water and eat local crab and lobster, freshly caught that day. Half an hour south, Great Yarmouth also has a long pier with arcades, food and a theatre.
Rosemary Cottage is available for holiday bookings all year round, so you don't have to wait to enjoy a fun-filled family holiday that includes the coast, countryside, and the Broads.
