Rose Cottage is a traditional Victorian flint faced property built in approximately 1860 and fully refurbished in 2020 to ensure your Norfolk break is relaxing and stress free. It is set in the conservation area of Sedgeford. This quiet linear village sits within the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty covering the North Norfolk Coast. The cottage is suitable for small families, groups or couples alike , dogs are very welcome too.
The area has an abundance of local attractions including RSPB Snettisham, beaches at Heacham and all the traditional amenities at the seaside town of Hunstanton, only a short drive along the coast. We are local to Sandringham Estate, the medieval town of Kings Lynn and many walks and cycle routes suitable for all abilities. The village has a local pub within walking distance, Norfolk Lavender Farm Shop and a local supermarket are within two miles.
Whatever your choice, Rose Cottage is ideally placed and guests home from home experience is our priority.

Ground floor space offers a lounge with log burner and Smart TV, a fully equipped kitchen diner, downstairs WC and conservatory with radio. The latter overlooks an enclosed garden with raised patio area for alfresco dining.
The first floor bedrooms are configured into a king, double, twin and a single room. There is an additional TV in the twin bedroom. All have ample storage space. There is room for a travel cot for babies under one. We provide two sizes of cot, but please bring your own linen. The bathroom provides walk in shower plus bath with overhead shower with heated radiator/ towel rails.
Rose Cottage has oil fired central heating included in the price as well as electricity, Wifi, towels and bed linen. Owners provide the first basket of logs between October and March as well as a a full complement of starter essentials for all length of stays.
The attached car port allows for two medium sized cars, plus unrestricted on street parking is available.

Rose Cottage is available all year, short breaks are welcome. Preferred change over day is Friday, but please enquire with owner for specific dates. Returning guests can save 5% discount on our current tariffs. Owner provides starter essentials for kitchen and bathroom, towels, linen, electricity and heating. First basket of logs is included October to March, patio furniture available April to September. Dog blankets and beds available on request. There is no additional fee for dogs.
