Pump Cottage is a cosy attractive detached holiday home in an enviable position right in the heart of the Norfolk coastal village of Brancaster Staithe. An ideally family retreat the cottage sleeps four guests and is just a short walk from the harbour and pubs, and provides a real 'home from home' well suited for those with a passion for birdwatching, sailing, painting, cycling, golf, photography, walking or simply relaxing.
On the beautiful north Norfolk coastline, Brancaster Staithe sits between Wells-next-Sea and Hunstanton, and is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with marshland, wonderful sunsets and fantastic views across sandy beaches and tidal marshes. It has miles of sandy beaches, lovely coastal walks and the well known Royal West Norfolk Golf Club, and is a magical fishing village which is ideal for a short break or holiday at any time of the year.
The village offers bike hire and tennis courts with availability for sailing, water skiing, windsurfing and sea fishing trips. From the village you can also take a boat trip to Scolt Head Island, a Nature Conservation Area with the largest breeding colony of Sandwich Terns - ideal for those with an interest in bird and wildlife. The village has two good traditional pubs, The Jolly Sailors with excellent facilities for children and The White Horse with its good restaurant. There is also a supermarket, petrol station and other interesting shops in the village, as well as The Fish Shed where you can pick up smoked and fresh fish for preparing supper back at the cottage.
North Norfolk has much to offer with its beautiful coastline, amazing beaches, wildlife, delightful churches, picturesque villages and wonderful stately homes.
