Spread out over two levels, Island View has two bedrooms (one king and one with a flexible zip and link bed), is nicely presented throughout and affords fabulous views over the Solent to the Isle of Wight in the distance. With a superb choice of shops, pubs and restaurants on the doorstep, gated entrance with an allocated parking space and a sun-trap of a roof terrace just perfect for a 'sundowner', Island View is every bit as popular with couples (one or two) as it is with families looking to explore the New Forest.
To the front of the property is the high street offering some lovely independent boutiques as well as high street names. Stroll out of a morning to pick up fresh bread and goodies for breakfast on the terrace with everything provided in the kitchen for self-catering. Of an evening you have a great choice of places for a meal out or enjoy alfresco dining and wonderful views of the Solent. Saturdays are bustling days in Lymington with an excellent weekly market that attracts people from far and wide. With over one hundred stalls selling everything from flowers to fresh local produce, it's the perfect time to stock up ready for your holiday ahead.
A popular destination amongst Sailors, Lymington is steeped in maritime history with its river, marinas and quaint cobbled Quay at its very heart. There is an air of vibrancy about the town which instantly makes you feel like you are on holiday. Exceptionally well located for enjoying everything the coast and forest have to offer, you can catch a ferry to the Isle of Wight from Lymington Pier, or venture into the forest to enjoy miles of walking, cycling and horse riding. There are open-top bus tours of the forest available directly outside Island View on the High Street; and you can take a train from Lymington station to Brockenhurst, making it a good choice of holiday destination for those who want to leave the car at home.
The many attractions of the forest and coast are close by including Beaulieu, Bucklers Hard, Exbury Gardens, Milford on Sea and Burley to name just a few. Whether you want to simply relax in this beautiful waterside haven, or get out and about exploring, Island View provides a welcoming retreat to return home to at the end of the day.

Additional information: Prices include heating, bed linen, electricity and towels. WiFi internet access. Sorry but no dogs and strictly no smoking. Short breaks available out of peak season - please enquire with the owner. A refundable security deposit of £100 is required when booking.
