The Manor at Michelmersh Manor Farm is a wonderful self-catering property with ample space for up to six people to sleep in three bedrooms. It is a self-contained wing of the owner's listed property with medieval roots that can be seen in its thick stone walls and vaulted ceilings. Located on a working farm near Romsey in Hampshire, The Manor is ideal for exploring Salisbury, Winchester and the beaches on the south coast, and is also within driving distance of the New Forest National Park.
There is no limit to the fun you can have during your stay at The Manor. Whatever the weather, there is plenty to do from wandering through the beautiful gardens of Broadlands in summer, giving the kids the day of their lives at Paultons Park and Peppa Pig World, marvelling at ancient oaks and towering redwoods in the New Forest or building sandcastles on the beach at Christchurch, Bournemouth or Mudeford. Winchester and Salisbury each have thousands of years of history, and you can delve back further into Britain's past at Stonehenge. Visitors with an appreciation for military history will be interested to know that US soldiers were billeted at Michelmersh Manor Farm prior to the landing at D-Day and the Army Flying Museum is nearby.
The Manor and farm are surrounded by stunning countryside you can access through a network of footpaths. Follow in the footsteps of a fleeing Charles I on The Monarch Way, wander through peaceful woodland, or stretch your legs on a 12-mile walk to Winchester. Fishing is another favourite way to enjoy the landscape with the River Test and the Houghton Fishing Club both close by.
Whether you like cooking at home or eating out at country pubs, familiar high street chains or upmarket restaurants, Hampshire does not disappoint, offering everything from seafood cooked simply and served fresh, to succulent, slow-roasted locally reared meat and expertly prepared vegetables. With Romsey just three miles away and Stockbridge also close by, it's simple to stock up for the week or shop daily.
Michelmersh Manor Farm has a second self-catering cottage, Bluebells, which sleeps six people and is dog-friendly. The cottages can be booked individually, or together to sleep up to 12 people making them ideal for large or extended families or groups of friends on holiday together.

The Manor is entirely self-contained, occupying a wing of the main farmhouse. It is a period property with original features and modern touches skillfully combined to create a unique and comfortable home-from-home.

Outside: The Manor has an enclosed garden with views of fields and farmland. The garden has a barbecue and outdoor furniture. There is parking close to the cottage. A separate barn houses a shared games room with snooker, table football, darts and table tennis.
Additional Information: The Manor is available all year round and can be booked for short breaks or together with the owner's other holiday cottage, Bluebell, which is dog-friendly. A highchair is available on request. Utilities, WiFi, sheets and towels are included. Please note that The Manor is fed from a private water supply. Smoking is not permitted.
