This delightful detached 4 Star property is located within the owners own grounds and offers self catering holiday accommodation for four guests plus a cot can be provided for an infant, children of all ages are welcome. Forester’s is equally ideal for a couple - a discount is offered to couples if only one of the bedrooms (and en-suite) is used. Pets are also welcome by arrangement as well as livery for horses. Direct booking - no booking fees, vat or security deposit. Electric Vehicles may be charged using the owners EV Charger by arrangement.
Without stairs, Forester's has level accommodation which is exceptionally well maintained and fully equipped to ensure you have an enjoyable and memorable holiday or short break. Smart TV and central heating throughout offer a very comfortable environment whatever the time of year. Forester’s is open for Christmas and New Year.
Surrounded by trees, fields and hedgerows, this lovely area has plenty of wildlife, excellent off road walks, cycling trails and horse riding. It is located on the East Dorset / New Forest border, allowing guests to enjoy the best of these two popular areas. Within an easy walk is Moors Valley Country Park with lakes, a tree top trail, cycle hire, steam railway and lots more. The vibrant market town of Ringwood in the New Forest is just 4 miles east. The stunning scenery of the Cranborne Chase is only four miles west and for those wanting a day at the beach, Bournemouth, Boscombe are only 10 miles away, whilst Southbourne, Hengistbury Head and Mudeford Sands with nature trails, cliff walks, land-train and water sports are 8 miles. The Dorset Jurassic Coast is easily explored at Lulworth, Durdle Door and Kimmeridge where fossils can be seen particularly at low tide and the famous giant sea monster can be seen in the Etches Museum, Kimmeridge.
The forest, coast and countryside has events and special sites as well as a huge variety of bistros, pubs, restaurants, markets, museums, and attractions. Outside: Forester's Cottage is located within the owners private grounds. The cottage has a fenced and gated garden with a lawn, colourful planted borders with shrubs and trees, and a furnished patio ideal for alfresco dining, complete with a barbecue. Within the garden is a new Games Room with table tennis and a football game solely for the use of residential visitors to the cottage. Immediately next to the cottage are two car parking spaces for visitors with level access into the garden without steps.
Additional information: Gas, electricity, towels and bed linen are included within the price. Beds are made up ready for arrival with fresh quality linen with seasonally weighted duvets to ensure comfort.
