Little Orchard sits in a quiet position close to the centre of the popular historic Cotswold town of Chipping Campden and sleeps up to four guests in two bedrooms (one double and one with super-king size bed). With an extensive manicured garden to relax in the summer months and an open fire to make the chilliest of winter nights warm, this picturesque thatched cottage is an ideal retreat all year round.
With low ceilings, lots of beams and uneven walls and floors the cottage oozes character and is perfect for those seeking a truly cosy cottage to enjoy a relaxing break.
Sitting almost on the Cotswold Way, guests can enjoy wonderful walks directly from the front door throughout this picturesque Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Paths and tracks allow cyclists and walkers to explore the stunning landscape of the Cotswold Hills, dotted with pretty villages along the way where you can re-fuel at one of the many fantastic pubs.
Chipping Campden has one of the Cotswolds' most impressive unspoilt medieval towns with a long High Street lined with magnificent fourteenth and eighteenth Century honey coloured properties which are home to interesting independent shops, pubs and a host of eating establishments. Ideally placed, Chipping Campden is within easy reach of Broadway, Stow-on-the-Wold and Moreton in Marsh. Centrally positioned, it makes a great base for exploring the wider area with attractions including Cheltenham, Blenheim Palace at Woodstock, Oxford, Stratford-upon-Avon (the birthplace of William Shakespeare), Warwick Castle and even the Roman City of Bath - all within easy driving distance. There are historic towns with incredible architecture and quintessentially English villages just waiting to be explored.
With so many amenities and attractions on the doorstep, Little Orchard is an ideal self-catering retreat for those who want to leave the car at home and perfect at any time of the year to get away with friends, family or as a couple for a romantic break.
