Holywell Cottage sleeps four guests in spacious accommodation and is perched on the hillside amongst the magnificent scenery of the Malvern Hills. Enjoying an elevated position, the cottage is a walker's paradise with direct access out onto bridle paths and footpaths straight from the garden front gate. Grade II listed and full of traditional charm, Holywell Cottage neighbours the ancient Holy Well Spring, believed to be the world's first spring water bottling plant, and a fine source for Malvern Water which you can enjoy during your stay (bottle provided!).
Well located for enjoying the many attractions of the Malvern Hills, the spa town of Great Malvern is only two miles away and offers a great choice of interesting shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants. The town is also home to the Malvern Theatres with its thriving arts scene that attracts people from far and wide. The Three Counties Showground with its busy calendar of events is even closer and just a mile from Holywell Cottage, and the famous Morgan Motor Company is just ten minutes drive from the cottage in Malvern where it is possible to arrange a tour of the factory (week days only) and even hire a Morgan for the day (what better way of driving around and seeing the sights!). For those looking for a meal out, The Cottage in The Wood is just a five minute walk down the road from the cottage serving fabulous food in its restaurant, and there also three pubs locally that you can visit whilst out walking serving good food.
Located in Worcestershire on the border of Herefordshire, and within easy reach of Gloucestershire, there are an abundance of day trips out for those happy to use the car. The Forest of Dean is within easy reach and offers great opportunities for those seeking adventure with superb water sports (white water rafting, kayaking, canoeing etc), zip wires, forest walks and fantastic mountain bike trails. The Cotswolds provides a beautiful landscape to explore with pretty honey coloured villages and historic towns peppering its rolling hills. Visit the riverside towns of Tewkesbury with its medieval streets and attractive abbey, Ledbury, and Upton upon Severn with its art galleries, book shops and chocolate factory.
The cities of Hereford, Worcester, and Gloucester are also within driving distance, as is the spa town of Cheltenham and even the Roman city of bath (just over an hour and a half).
