Flodden Apartment is conveniently situated for a short walk into the charming farming town of Wooler in North Northumberland.
The popular Milan Italian restaurant is a 2 minute walk from the flat (booking ahead recommended though they also do takeaways)
Wooler is known as the 'Gateway to the Cheviots' and there are stunning walks a short distance from the flat. The flat has a nice courtyard garden with views towards Weetwood Hill and St Cuthbert's Way runs past the flat. The flat is cosy and quiet and has been newly renovated with brand new kitchen cabinets and and new bathroom suite.

The flat is so named after the Battle of Flodden which occurred just north of Wooler. The apartment owner shares his book and trail for curious sites in the area of North Northumberland including castles and encampments ! It is a mere half hour drive to the stunning beaches and quaint coastal towns. Northumberland is famous for Alnwick Castle where parts of Harry Potter was filmed and Lilidorei - the world's largest play structure. 'Ad Gefrin' is a new and popular development in Wooler town and contains an Anglo Saxon museum and a popular cafe / restaurant. Wooler contains an antique auction house (Railtons) and other antique shops. The high street has 2 cafes, a bakery, a gift shop /newsagent and the Cheviot Centre houses a tourist information centre and library.
