2 (off peak)
Stables 3 is a character stone holiday cottage designed with couples in mind. With plenty of space and fabulous views over Nefyn Bay, thanks to its cliff-top position, Stables 3 is a popular choice for a romantic break for two. Guests can sit on the private deck and enjoy far-reaching views over the Irish Sea, or stretch out on the sofa and enjoy them whilst relaxing after an active day exploring the plentiful sights and attractions this area has to offer. This traditional cottage has had a contemporary update to make it a very comfortable home-away-from-home in every season.
The Llyn Peninsula is on the west coast of Wales, adjoining the Snowdonia National Park and surrounded by the waters of the Irish Sea and Cardigan Bay. The beautiful landscape is protected as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty making it an ideal holiday destination not only for people who enjoy walking, cycling and watersports, but also bird watchers and nature lovers as well. The Wales Coast Path passes nearby the cottage, while the peninsula also has miles of other way-marked footpaths and bridleways. There is also a network of road routes and mountain bike trails for cyclists to explore.
Days out can include admiring the colourful buildings at Portmeirion, wandering around the clifftop castle at Criccieth, relaxing on the beach at Pwllheli or Llanbedrog, or learning to sail at Abersoch. Caernarfon is within easy reach, with its magnificent castle still standing proudly as part of Edward I's impressive Iron Ring of fortresses, or why not take a boat trip from the fishing village of Aberdaron to Bardsey Island.
The western edge of the Snowdonia National Park is only a short drive from the cottage, opening up another vast outdoor playground. Even if you do nothing else, a trip on the historic Snowdon Mountain Railway to the top of Wales' highest peak will give you an appreciation for the scale and raw beauty of the landscape.
