Self Catering Holiday Cottages in Porthmadog

The bustling harbour town of Porthmadog is found on the Afon Glaslyn estuary in northwest Wales amongst the mountain ranges of Snowdonia. It’s a fantastic place to stay if you’re looking to explore some of the attractions of the surrounding area, particularly as it’s a town with such good transport links that include the Welsh Highland Heritage Railway. A highlight is a mile-long embankment across the estuary that is known locally as ‘The Cob’ and makes a great route for an afternoon stroll or cycle, admiring the views of the coastline on either side.
