The Bevan is the perfect place to host a big group holiday in North Wales. The large holiday home is in the small village of Bontnewydd, a short drive from Caernarfon and within easy reach of Snowdonia National Park, Anglesey, and the beautiful Llyn Peninsula. It's suitable for guests of all ages, so ideal if you're planning an event for your extended family, with a games room. There is space for 34 people to sleep in 17 well-presented en-suite bedrooms. Bigger groups have the option of booking sister property, The Cadwaladr, which is next door and increases potential accommodation to 60 people. The Newborough Arms is within walking distance, as is the village shop.
Bontnewydd is ideal whether you're keeping everything on-site or looking for a destination with the opportunity for excursions and activities. Caernarfon's castle and the town walls are part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site, recognising the importance of the most impressive of all of Edward I's medieval fortresses. Caernarfon has a great choice of places to eat and drink, shops, a marina, and a gallery. You can take a sightseeing boat tour or journey on the Welsh Highland Railway to Porthmadog. Other day trips can include sunning yourself on the beaches of Angelsey, scaling Snowdon on foot or via the Victorian train, mountain biking through untamed wilderness, or taking a guided pony trek through spectacular scenery.
The Bevan is part of a traditional Welsh Manor House with extensive grounds and views over the Menai Strait to Llanddwyn Beach on Anglesey. It's a terrific place to host a party, workshops, or corporate events. The house is accessible for guests who use a wheelchair, with six bedrooms on the ground floor, and is child and pet-friendly.
