Old Causeway Bakery Cottage is an ideal retreat for couples or small families (with the use of fold-up beds) and sits alongside the owner's house in Dorset on the outskirts of the pretty rural farming village of Hazelbury Bryan. Nestling in the Blackmore Vale, the cottage is nearby to Sturminster Newton, Blandford Forum, Sherborne, Dorchester and Shaftesbury and also within easy reach of the glorious Dorset Jurassic coastline (including Swanage and Lulworth Cove). Short beaks with a flexible changeover day are available all year round (please note that three night minimum breaks are offered).
Attached to the main house, the cottage offers self-catering and provides the perfect romantic getaway and an ideal base for those who enjoy walking or who want to visit the areas many attractions that Dorset has to offer. The garden overlooks the fields and guest's have their own private patio for relaxing and taking in the glorious countryside views, along with the use of the owner's child proof and dog friendly garden providing a peaceful place to sit and relax.
The area offers plenty of attractions and enjoyable day trips including Longleat House and Safari Park; Cheddar Gorge; Stourhead Gardens; Haynes International Motor Museum with over four hundred cars and bikes from around the world; Durdle Door; the ancient site of Stonehenge and Clarkes Village for shoppers, to name just a few.
Alternatively, put on your walking boots and explore the local countryside with lovely walks starting from the cottage garden.

This accommodation is completely self-contained and has it's own front door, providing a comfortable, cosy and private retreat.
Outside: Guests have the full use of the owner's child friendly garden (also dog-proof), along with your own patio which is private and overlooks the beautiful Dorset countryside.
Additional information: Bed linen, towels, heating and electricity included in the price. Dogs welcome (up to four depending on the size) and there is direct access from the garden onto footpaths and across the fields. A welcome pack is provided to greet you and cater for your first breakfast including tea, coffee, milk, butter, marmalade, cereal and homemade bread. No smoking inside but smoking is allowed outside the property.
Short breaks are available all year (three night minimum stay), start day flexible. Contact owners for per night seasonal pricing for short breaks.
