Spacious open-plan living/dining room with comfortable leather sofas and LED Smart TV with numerous apps. Circular wooden table with four chairs giving ample room for dining as well as working. Technology is prominent with wifi internet access and iPlayer to include DAB/FM radio/bluetooth/CD player. In addition, there is also a portable bluetooth speaker so you can listen to your own music anywhere in the cottage.
Solid oak flooring extends throughout the ground floor into the kitchen and French doors open out to the spacious, landscaped garden giving superb views of the rolling hills towards the sea. There is a gas coal-effect fire in the living area and the cottage is heated throughout. There is a small library of DVD films and a good selection of books, magazines and games. Recycling facilities are available. The cottage has a washing machine, fridge/freezer and ironing facilities.
Kitchen
Country kitchen with gas-fired AGA. Great for cooking and keeps the cottage lovely and cosy in the Winter months.
Main Bedroom
Upstairs, large south-facing room with a comfortable, victorian style kingsize bed, fitted painted pine wardrobe, chest of drawers and digital flat-screen TV and spectacular views. Hairdryer.
Bedroom 2
Also upstairs, the second bedroom has a single bed, a fitted pine wardrobe and chest of drawers.
Bathroom
The upstairs bathroom is modern with bath, power shower, heated towel rail, washbasin and WC.
Other Information
Bedlinen and towels are included. Stairgates, a cot and high chair are available. Welcome tray on arrival.

Garden
The garden at Chideock Cottage is south facing and has stunning views of the rolling hills towards the sea. It has a lawned area with an apple and fig tree near the bottom. Alfresco dining is very accessible at Chideock Cottage. There is a large patio area at the top of the garden, just in front of the house, with table and cushioned chairs, an umbrella, rattan chairs with coffee table, BBQ and lighting.
Parking
Gravelled parking is available at the bottom of Chideock Cottage garden. the area is spacious for one car but it is possible to fit 2 small cars. Lighting is triggered by automatic sensors.
There are 2 excellent pubs walkable from the cottage. One is The Clock Inn which is 5 minutes walk and the other is The Anchor at Seatown which is a 15 minutes walk.
