The Garden Studio is the perfect sanctuary for couples or individuals. Having recently been converted from it’s previous incarnation during the early 1700’s as a honey-stone working barn, this sweet little ‘bijou-cottage’, now beautifully appointed, becomes a most attractive alternative to a shepherd’s hut or glamping pod, where for a similar cost, you will find comforts like a king size bed, fully fitted kitchen and en-suite shower-room!
It is located actually in the gardens of Chideock Grange in North Chideock, served by a leafy lane with little or no passing traffic yet affording immediate access to a wealth of public footpaths and cycle ways, including the famous Holloway in Hell Lane which leads to Symondsbury, Colmers Hill and onwards to either the market town of Bridport & West Bay or our local beach at Seatown about a mile or two away. Lyme Regis and the fossil beach at Charmouth are just a short drive to the west.
The South West Coastal Path and the UNESCO World Heritage Coast are stunning in any season and there is a wealth of other local sights and attractions close by to delight you.

The Garden Studio consists of one spacious room divided into spaces for relaxing, cooking and sleeping, with a modern ensuite. It's cosy and welcoming in all seasons, with everything you need for a blissful break.
Outside: Guests are free to wander the grounds which border the River Winniford and has a picnic area, and a separate recreation barn with books and games. There is also off-street parking.
Additional Information: Utilities, rural-strength WiFi, bed linen and bath towels are all provided. A travel cot (no bedding) and a high chair are available - please request these when booking. Dogs are not permitted in The Garden Studio, but there are other dog-friendly holiday rentals at Chideock Grange.
