Jasmine Cottage is a welcoming holiday rental in an idyllic location close to Bridport and within easy reach of the Jurassic Coast. Recently refurbished to a high standard, the period stone cottage sleeps six people in two bedrooms and is ideal for families having direct access to wonderful walks from the doorstep. Jasmine Cottage is one of five fantastic self-catering holiday homes on the Hell Barn estate, tucked away at the end of a quiet lane in North Chideock with no passing traffic. There is nothing to disturb the peace except, perhaps, some particularly enthusiastic starlings!
North Chideock is a rural gem, incredibly tranquil yet remarkably convenient for the A35 road between Charmouth and Bridport. There are spectacular countryside walks and bike rides around the property that is part of the extensive Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Follow footpaths to Colmers Hill and Seatown, or walk the ancient Hell Lane holloway, which has been carved into the landscape by more than 300 years of footsteps, leading to Symondsbury, Eype, and West Bay, from where you can pick up the magnificent South West Coast Path. Mountain bikers will also find plenty to keep them entertained, from the eight-mile XC loop on the Symondsbury Estate to the extensive network of bridleways that also includes holloways.
In addition to the glorious Dorset countryside, visitors can spend happy days exploring the Jurassic Coast, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Search for fossils in Lyme Regis or Charmouth, or go sailing in the English Channel. Local attractions include Portland Bill, the Bovington Tank Museum, Abbotsbury Gardens and Swannery, Crealy Theme Park, and Monkey World. Clouds Hill and Hardy's Cottage showcase the life and achievements of Lawrence of Arabia and Thomas Hardy, and there is a wealth of country houses and beautiful gardens to discover.
Jasmine Cottage is a heavenly hideaway where couples and families can switch off from modern stresses and recharge their bodies and souls. It is available for bookings all year round and can, depending on availability, be booked with other cottages at Chideock Grange Holiday Cottages to accommodate extended families and friends.

Additional Information: Rural-strength WiFi, utilities, bed linen and bath towels are all provided. Guests to bring beach towels if they are required. Please enquire if you wish to bring a dog. Smoking is not permitted. Short breaks (charged at 4 night price) available off-peak or at short notice during peak.
