Sea Maiden
Sea Maiden is located within the picturesque hamlet of Maidencombe on the outskirts of Torquay and offers a romantic escape to take in the best that South Devon has to offer. It comfortably sleeps four people in two bedrooms and is ideal for families or friends. Enjoy the enclosed garden, beautiful panoramic views across the rolling fields and the coastline of Lyme Bay. Wake up to a stunning view of the sunrise and relax on the balcony with your morning coffee, planning your day of adventure in Devon.
Walking is a delight, with several good trails, the South West Coastal Path on your doorstep, and Dartmoor National Park is not far away. Maidencombe Beach offers the perfect venue for dog owners, where four-legged friends can enjoy the beach all year round. The nearby Thatched Tavern has all the character and charm of the original 17th-century cottage.
If you venture further, you have a selection of beautiful sandy beaches to visit, including Shaldon, The Ness Beach (accessed through The Smugglers Tunnel), Babbacombe Beach, Meadfoot Beach, Teignmouth Beach and of course the many beaches of Torbay. You won’t struggle to find things to do when you stay at Sea Maiden.
