6 Shoreside is in Shaldon, a picturesque village over the water from Teignmouth with everything you need for a fun-filled family holiday by the Devon coast. Beautiful beaches, fantastic amenities, and popular attractions are all here, making it an excellent destination for a self-catering stay in any season. This fabulous detached family holiday home has recently been refurbished and sleeps six people in three bedrooms. It's on a large corner plot and only a few minutes flat walk from the beach, shops, The Shipwright Arms pub, and a big playing field. We know that a family holiday can be anything but relaxing for those organising it. However, this house in this location will ensure that parents get the opportunity to unwind and enjoy themselves too.
You won't be surprised to learn that watersports are a big thing in Shaldon. By swimming, kayaking, SUPing, or sunning yourself on the sand at Ness Cove, you can make the most of having the river and the coast on the doorstep. Walking through Smugglers Tunnel to have spectacular views open up before you is a joy that never gets old. Golfers can forgive themselves for being distracted by the panoramic display from the clifftop course, and make sure to stop by Shaldon Zoo to greet the residents. Once you've explored Shaldon, take the historic passenger ferry across the river to Teignmouth for even more variety of places to shop and eat. It's a fun way to treat the kids to a day out without exhausting yourself (or your wallet) as there is a lovely beach, beautiful coastal footpath, and popular adventure park.
The English Riviera is close with fantastic beaches and attractions at Torquay, Paignton and Brixham. Sidmouth and the Blue Flag Beach at Dawlish Warren are other nearby options. Drag yourself away from the coast, and you can quickly find yourself in the dramatic landscape of Dartmoor National Park, where walking, mountain biking, climbing, horse riding, and 4WD safaris are all exciting ways to discover its ancient and mystical beauty.
6 Shoreside is fresh and bright, decorated and furnished with families in mind. The owners welcome guests in all seasons, including those with a well-behaved dog (by arrangement).

Outside: French doors open from the living room onto the private patio with a table and chairs. The cottage has off-street parking for one car.
Additional Information: Utilities, WiFi, bed linen and bath towels are included with the hire of 6 Shoreside. Guests to provide beach towels if required. A well-behaved dog is welcome by arrangement. Smoking is not allowed.
