The Old Dairy sleeps two guests (plus an additional two on a sofa bed) and is a great choice of holiday retreat for couples, singles or small families wanting to visit the New Forest at any time of the year. Offering comfortable self-catering accommodation, The Old Dairy is located in Bramshaw, a village close to Lyndhurst (known as the 'capital of the forest' and provides an ideal base from which to explore the national parks many attractions.
Once a stable block which was home to the old dairy, The Old Dairy nestles amongst the owner's grounds who are on hand to provide as much or as little assistance as required. Guests staying at the cottage will have plenty of privacy and a relaxing comfy environment from which to enjoy the pleasant views across the paddock where ponies, sheep, pigs and free range chickens peacefully graze - there is always something to watch whilst sitting out.
The Old Dairy is ideal for those who want to explore the New Forest whether you enjoy walking, cycling or horse riding. Facilities are available for guests would would like to bring their own horse/pony away with them to explore the miles of forest tracks and trails which can be accessed easily within five minutes of the cottage. There are pretty forest villages in every direction to discover whether you want to do this by bike, foot or horse back, along with some excellent pubs along the way for refreshments and lunch!
Conveniently located with easy access from the M27, the cottage is a great base for visiting not only the many places of interest that the New Forest has to offer, but also the surrounding attractions of Winchester - a vibrant small city with great shopping opportunities; Salisbury with its beautiful cathedral; the market town of Romsey, Portsmouth with its strong maritime heritage and the city of Southampton. Alternatively, park the car, stay put and enjoy the fantastic walks through the forest which can be accessed with four minutes by foot, then enjoy supper in the pub (you have two to choose from) which is a short stroll away.

Outside: There is a small patio area with bench seat and BBQ where guests can sit and enjoy the views over the paddock. Plenty of off road parking available with room for horse boxes and trailers.
Additional information: All bed linen and towels are provided and included in the price. Guests are welcome to bring their own horses and use the adjacent paddock which has a field shelter (£100 additional charge applies). Well behaved dogs welcome. Bookings are normally Friday to Friday but short breaks are available upon request (two night minimum from £140).
