Brown Moss Nature Reserve with woodland walks is a beautiful place to stroll round and near to this we have a 200 acre estate with no livestock and so perfect for walking your dogs. The bustling old market town of Whitchurch which is the oldest town in the country has fine dining including Docket 33 and the italian restaurant Enzo`s. The town has beautiful Tudor buildings and is renowned for its production of the Joyce clocks and its canalside walks.Chester and Shrewsbury are close by as well as Ellesmere with its scenic lakes. Chester Zoo and the Grosvenor Museum are worth a visit as well as a lovely stroll around the Chester Roman Gardens. We have quite a few places to visit on rainy days such as Dagfields Craft and Antique Centre and the Secret Bunker plus Bridgemere Garden World with its splendid gardens. The Dorothy Clive and Trentham gardens are this side of Staffordshire and well worth a visit or have a look at the Wedgewood museum and then go across to the JCB factory for a very interesting tour. The Bunny Barn in Combefishacre near Ipplepen is the perfect place to escape into the Devonshire countryside for a holiday. The medieval barn has been sympathetically converted to offer comfortable self-catering accommodation for couples or small families with young children. Boasting flagstone floors, thick stone walls and original oak beams. Ipplepen village is a mile away with a traditional pub serving great food(The Wellington), A village Co-Op for groceries and a lovely coffee shop. 2 Hollies Cottages is a stone, mid-terraced cottage in Stainforth, a couple of miles from the market town of Settle. With an occupancy of 4 people, the cottage offers a cosy, home-from-home base for exploring the Yorkshire Dales and for further afield visits to the Lake District. The accommodation comprises a lounge with a log burning stove, a kitchen/dining room with new fitted kitchen, downstairs WC, 1 kingsize bedroom,1 twin bedroom, bathroom with boost shower over bath, and a 2nd floor loft conversion which offers an additional lounge area and a sofabed if required. The loft conversion has a separate staircase accessed through the front bedroom. To the rear of the cottage is a paved, secure garden area with plants, shrubs and wooden seating. There is a very high stone wall to the rear and high panelling to the sides, so the garden is secure for children and dogs. There is parking for one car outside the cottage, with further spaces usually free along the road.
