Tregrehan Garden Cottages, an unusual brew of Cornish history and landscape, and Kiwi hospitality, provide relaxed holidays in a magical setting of 19th Century Grade II architecture within a 20 acre woodland garden. Magnificent trees soar above the pink stone buildings, home to five fully equipped cottages sleeping 1 to 8 edging the cobbled courtyard. Open all year for short and long breaks. Arrive to a lit wood-burner during the colder months. Wood is included and natural, high quality products are used throughout. Each cottage has a private garden, some walled. Someone is on hand if needed.
The cottages are an ideal base for plants people. Spring starts early in Cornwall and Tregrehan Garden is open from mid-March, a garden of recognised merit with an extraordinary collection of trees. Most of Cornwall's ‘Great Gardens’ are in close proximity.
Within walking distance is the coastal path leading along to Crinnis beach, historic Charlestown harbour and onwards to Mevagissey. The Eden Project is just a 20 minute walk. Explore the secluded Luxulyan Valley and Helman Tor behind us, superb cycling. Kayak or walk the wooded Fowey Estuary rich in wildlife. Enjoy Lostwithiel’s independent shops, head to the Duchy Nursery for cake and tea, and meander further along the Fowey River through the idyllic landscape to the National Trust’s Lanhydrock House.
From Bodmin you can join the Camel trail and cycle to Padstow. Book the Beach Café at Watergate Bay between surfs, easy access and within a 35-minute drive. Relax in Tregrehan Garden and enjoy a game of tennis in a lovely setting.

The Mews is the perfect retreat for two and is cosy and welcoming at any time of the year with a log burner for winter breaks and a private garden with a sunny aspect and sea views for the summer months.
The apartment is on the ground floor and comprises:
Outside: Guests have a sunny garden area for relaxing with garden furniture (barbecue available upon request), plus off-road parking.
Additional information: Prices include bed linen, heating, electricity, logs for the fire (stored in the woodshed) and tea towels (please bring your own towels or they can be hired at an additional charge of £6 per person). Guests have complimentary entrance to the Garden during the open season (which is spring and summer for the public and Wednesday afternoon for guests at other times of the year or by prior request). A tennis court is available for guest use during daytime working hour - pre-booking is required). Free Wi-Fi in living area. An outside communal laundry room with washing machine is available (coin operated). There is a pub half a mile away, and a shop within one mile. There is also an eighteen hole golf course for those who like a game just half a mile away.
