Cloisters sleeps up to six guests and is an attractive Cotswolds property situated in the very heart of Bourton-on-the-Water, just a hundred yards from the River Windrush and the main street, lined with interesting boutiques and restaurants. Beautifully presented, with lovely period features including stone mullion leaded windows, beams and exposed stone, the cottage provides the perfect mix of traditional charm and modern convenience.
Bourton-on-the-Water is centrally located within the Cotswolds and provides an ideal base for exploring the area and its numerous attractions. The M5, M4 and M40 are within easy reach, making Bourton-on-the-Water easily accessible from most parts of the country. The village has been voted one of the prettiest in England, which is hardly surprising given its beautiful stone properties; expansive grass areas alongside the river where you can sit and feed the ducks, and ancient little stone bridges that cross the river allowing you to wander from side to side browsing the many independent shops.
Steeped in history, pre-dating Roman times, the architecture in the village is unique to the area, where you can see fine examples of stone mullion windows, stone tile roves and honey coloured limestone walls.
The village also has more than its fair share of attractions with Birdland Park and Gardens, and the Cotswold Motoring Museum and Toy Collection being two popular choices. The Model Village is a novel way of seeing Bourton on the Water in miniature form and little ones will enjoy Fundays Play Barn. The Cotswold Perfumery, Cotswold Pottery, Dragonfly Maze and Bourton Model Railway are also worth visiting and a day at Cotswold Farm Park is a must!
For those who want to get out and about exploring, the honey-coloured villages of Broadway, The Slaughters (within walking distance) and Chipping Campden are within easy driving distance; as are the historic towns of Burford, Stow-on-the-Wold (also in walking distance for the more hardy walker), Cheltenham and Stratford-upon-Avon. Hidcote Manor; Woodstock (home to Blenheim Palace); Sudeley Castle and Painswick Gardens are just a few of the many attractions within easy reach.

Outside: A small south facing garden with flower beds and cotswolds stone walls provides a nice place to sit and relax in the warmer months. A detached garage is available (it can be used for bike storage) and there is off street parking for one car.
Additional information: Well behaved dogs are accepted at an additional charge of £50 per pet, per week or short break stay. Short breaks available out of peak season - please enquire.
