Castaway Cottage is an excellent choice for families and friends who want a holiday or break away (out of peak months) by the sea. Affording a fabulous coastal position near Padstow, this stylish holiday home sits in the pretty Cornish village of Trevone and has a golden beach on the doorstep within just a hundred metres. Built and equipped to a high specification, Castaway Cottage and its fabulous location ensures a relaxing and comfortable stay at any time of the year.
Trevone is a quaint little village with two gorgeous family friendly beaches with sand for building castles and rock pools for poking around in (some so large they provide a natural swimming pool!). For a little village it is very well known for its 'blow hole' - a natural attractions up on the cliffs and enjoys a beautiful setting on the dramatic North Coast of Cornwall. The cliff-tops provide miles of wonderful walking where you can soak up fabulous views over Hawkers Cove and beyond, incoorporating the Camel estuary.
Perfectly placed, Trevone is a short drive from the bustling harbour town of Padstow with its fabulous choice of shops, superb restaurants, galleries and pubs. The surfing haven of Newquay is also near by and only twenty minutes by car. Travel a little further and you have world-class attractions within forty five minutes including The Eden Project, picturesque St Ives - popular with artists because of its natural beauty, Lanhydrock House, Boscastle and Tintagel with its connections to King Arthur.
For outdoor enthusiasts, the area will not disappoint with something for all energy levels including miles of coastal and countryside walks, cycling the leafy lanes or Camel Estuary for traffic free fun, golf, horse riding, surfing, paddle boarding, fishing, kayaking or simply relaxing on the golden sands.

Additional information: Bed linen, heating, electricity and towels included in the price but please bring beach towels. Well behaved dogs are accepted at an additional charge of £50 per pet, per week or short break stay. Strictly no smoking. Short breaks available out of peak season - please enquire with the owner.
