About Ocean View Penthouse

Ocean View Penthouse is a fantastic holiday apartment with enviable views over Woolacombe Beach. Imagine waking to the breathtaking sight of three miles of golden sands and rolling waves with nothing between you and the beach but a pane of glass and a 30-second walk. It sleeps four people in two large bedrooms, with large windows and high ceilings that enhance the sense of light and space. The third-floor beachfront apartment occupies one of the most desirable spots in Woolacombe and is perfect for a holiday with your family, friends, or as a couple. You're mere steps from the beach and the South West Coast Path and within a short stroll of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants.

Woolacombe is one of Devon's most scenic stretches of coastline. The award-winning beach regularly tops polls for favourite British beaches and holiday destinations, making Ocean View Penthouse even more of a jewel. Families love the beach for its vast expanse of sandy shore, calm water and natural rock pools, but it has something for everyone from beachside bars to birdwatching and from seal spotting to surfing. During your holiday in Woolacombe, other activities include horse riding on the sand, settling back for a film at the Croyde Deckchair Cinema, and going paddling and rock pooling at Tunnels Beaches.

Half a mile from Woolacombe, Morthoe is an excellent destination for a leisurely walk and a good way to build up an appetite for a pub lunch if that's what you fancy. Its elevated cliff-top location offers sensational views over the coast and countryside, while its museum has a fascinating collection of artefacts relating to the area's dubious history of smuggling. North Devon attractions also include the Victorian Pannier Market in Barnstaple, the clifftop railway between Lynton and Lynmouth, Exmoor Zoo, RHS Garden Rosemoor, The BIG Sheep, Milky Way Adventure Park, and Clovelly Court Gardens. Exmoor National Park is also around half an hour's drive from Woolacombe, with plenty of choice for mountain biking and outdoor adventuring.

Accommodation Comprises:

Ocean View Penthouse is on the third (and top) floor of a beachfront property on The Esplanade. Once inside, accommodation is all on one level.

  • Open plan living room, dining room and kitchen with fresh white walls and multi-aspect windows overlooking the seafront. A big corner sofa and two armchairs provide plenty of seating from where you can admire the views or watch something on the Smart TV with Sky channels.
  • Glossy white cabinets add to the feeling of light and space in the fitted kitchen, which has stylish granite worktops, high-quality appliances, and an effective island stove, so the cook is in the centre of everything.
  • Next to the kitchen, a circular dining table has four chairs and a clear sea view.
  • Master bedroom with views worth getting up early for! It has the same wooden flooring as the rest of the apartment and is furnished with a kingsize bed. The ensuite has a shower, WC and a handbasin.
  • Second double room with two single beds. These are zip and link and can, depending on your requirements, be connected to create a super-kingsize (6ft-wide) bed.
  • Family bathroom with a walk-in shower, heated towel rail, WC and a handbasin.

Outside: Hugely important, especially in busy summer months, the apartment has allocated off-street parking.

Additional Information: Bed linen, bath towels, utilities and WiFi are all included. A travel cot and a high chair are available on request—guests to bring beach towels and cot bedding if required. The owner regrets that pets cannot be accommodated. Ocean View Penthouse is a non-smoking property.
