Clover Cottage is a dreamy stone terraced cottage in South Hams, ideally located for easy access to South Devon's beautiful beaches and spectacular countryside. It sleeps up to four people in two bedrooms and is child and pet friendly, so is understandably a favourite with families. There are gorgeous walks and bike rides from the door, including one to the friendly Hope and Anchor Pub and The Cove Cafe Bar a mile away in Hope Cove.
There's always so much to love about a holiday in South Devon, especially in the South Hams region where Clover Cottage sits quietly at the family-run Bolberry Farm Cottages. The South West Coast Path and stunning beaches start a mile from the door, the closest of which is Hope Cove, once frequented by smugglers but now more famous for sunbathing and sandcastles. Hope Cove has two beaches - Harbour Beach and Mouthwell Beach, and is close to South Milton Sands and Thurlestone Beach, as well as Bantham Beach.
There's no better way of getting up close and personal with an area than on foot. Staying at Clover Cottage puts you close to some of the most spectacular views in South Devon. There is a five-mile loop that passes over Bolberry Down to Bolt Tail and down to Hope Cove. Turn and head for home, or keep going for a few more miles until you reach Salcombe. Cycling and mountain biking are also popular ways to explore. Having Dartmoor National Park only a few miles away opens up endless opportunities for hiking, mountain biking and climbing, and the sort of landscape that satisfies an adventurous soul at first sight. For something different, climb aboard the sea tractor from Bigbury to get to Burgh Island, beloved by Agatha Christie and a picturesque place for a picnic.
The village of Malborough is a short drive from the cottage with a supermarket, post office and pub. Nearby towns to pick up provisions are Kingsbridge and Salcombe. The market town of Totnes and the harbour town of Dartmouth are a 30-minute drive and well worth a visit.
Clover Cottage is one of three charming cottages at Bolberry Farm Cottages. It is private and self-contained and can be booked on its own or together with one or both of the other properties to accommodate groups of extended family and friends.

Clover Cottage is in the heart of a trio of terraced cottages. Accommodation is over two levels with an upside down layout.

Outside: Clover Cottage has a private enclosed garden at the rear. It is mainly lawn, apart from a paved area with an outdoor dining setting and a parasol for eating outside. The cottage has allocated parking and there is a shared undercover area for hosing off muddy paws, bikes, and boots.
Additional Information: Utilities, WiFi, sheets and bath towels are included. Guests to supply beach towels if they are required. Well-behaved dogs are welcome through prior arrangement for no additional cost. Short breaks may be possible depending on availability. Smoking is not permitted.
