Buttercup Cottage is one of three welcoming cottages at Bolberry Farm Cottages in the breathtaking South Hams region of South Devon, a mile from Hope Cove with the friendly Hope and Anchor Pub and The Cove Cafe Bar. Child and dog friendly, the cottage sleeps up to four people in two bedrooms and is a favourite not only with families but also with couples who appreciate the extra space.
South Devon's beaches are spectacular. Craggy cliffs drop down to golden sandy beaches, rock pools full of marine treasure and hidden caves in which smugglers once stored illicit booty. There are sheltered beaches with gentle water for swimming and paddle-boarding, broad swathes of an open shore with consistent waves that are a magnet for surfers, and tiny coves only accessible to the adventurous. Hope Cove, South Milton Sands and Bantham Beach are all easily accessible from Buttercup Cottage, while South Sands in Salcombe is only four miles from the door.
Walking is a big reason to visit South Devon. The views from the South West Coast Path are breathtaking, especially if you're lucky enough to spot kestrel and peregrine that feed in the area in the summer months. Some of the most dramatic views come from the circular walk that passes Hope Cove and the stretch of headland known as Bolt Tail, before turning inland and going over Bolberry Down, showcasing the best of South Devon's coast and countryside in a five-mile loop.
Spend leisurely days exploring places like Kingsbridge, Salcombe, Totnes and Dartmouth or find your own adventure climbing, mountain biking or horse riding in Dartmoor National Park. The region around Bolberry Farm Cottages has a wide choice of attractions, charming villages and picturesque market towns with independent boutiques and weekly markets.
Buttercup Cottage is entirely private and self-contained, with an enclosed private garden. It can be booked on its own or together with one or both of the other cottages for those on holiday with friends or extended family. Picture yourself surrounded by the people you love the most, lingering over a barbecue on a summer's evening or laying the table for Christmas dinner. The peaceful location and high standard of accommodation make Bolberry Farm Cottages perfect for a relaxing holiday in any season.

Outside: Buttercup Cottage has a private, enclosed garden which is safe for children and dogs. It is mainly lawn but there is a paved area with a table, chairs and a parasol for eating outdoors in good weather. The cottage has allocated off-street parking. There is a shared covered area with a hose for washing off muddy dogs and bikes.
Additional Information: All utilities, WiFi, bed linen and bath towels are included. Guests to provide beach towels if they are required. Well-behaved dogs are welcome for no extra charge - just let the owners know when booking. Smoking is not permitted.
