1, Out of the Blue is in an unbeatable location on the beachfront at Croyde, with nothing between you and breathtaking ocean views. The stunning three bedroom house, which can sleep up to eight people, is on a quiet road with little passing traffic, within walking distance of the pubs, restaurants, shops and cafes of Croyde. It even has off-street parking to make your holiday even more relaxed and stress-free.

Croyde's sandy coastline provides everything you could want from a beach holiday with your family or friends. The west-facing aspect of Croyde's main beach makes it a favourite with surfers and has the added benefit of spectacular sunsets over the ocean. Walk or cycle around Baggy Point to Putsborough Beach - another expanse of sand with great amenities, or go south along the coast to Saunton Sands, a three-mile stretch of shore backed by dunes. Woolacombe and Barricane beaches are nearby and also offer a fantastic day out.

It is easy to be active in Croyde with surfing, swimming, fishing, cycling, walking, horse riding and golf all on offer. The Tarka Trail is a favourite with families as it is flat and accessible. It is both a footpath and a cycle trail, and you can hire bikes locally if you do not bring yours with you to Out of the Blue. Exmoor National Park is only a short drive away, with miles more footpaths, cycle trails and bridleways to explore at your leisure.

The National Trust manages Baggy Point, and there is a 2.5-mile footpath which affords fantastic views for minimal effort. Alternatively, spend a happy few hours browsing the shops in Ilfracombe and Barnstaple, or visit popular attractions in North Devon such as Marwood Hill Gardens, Chambercombe Manor and the Ilfracombe Aquarium.

Staying at 1, Out of the Blue lets you enjoy every minute of your seaside holiday because you are truly 'seaside'. There is nothing between you and spectacular ocean views, and the sand is a hop, skip and a jump from the front door.

1, Out of the Blue is a modern, end of terrace property with accommodation over two levels. The upside-down layout makes the most of the views of the beach and Baggy Point.

Accommodation Comprises:

Downstairs:

  • Master bedroom suite has ocean views with French doors that open onto a private terrace. It has an elegant double bed, bedside tables, reading lights and a wardrobe and chest of drawers. An ensuite wet room adds to the luxurious feel, featuring a shower, WC, handbasin and heated towel rail.
  • Second bedroom which is also at the front of the house with uninterrupted views of the beach. It also has a double bed and good storage, with French doors that frame the view and make the room lovely and light.
  • The third bedroom is a twin room with two single beds, bedside tables and a rattan wardrobe. As with the other two rooms, it has French doors opening onto a patio.
  • Spacious family bathroom which includes a bath with overhead shower, WC, handbasin and heated towel rail.
  • Coats and shoes can be neatly tucked away in a discreet storage cupboard.

Upstairs:

  • Open-plan kitchen and living room is light and spacious, with breathtaking views of Baggy Point and the beach. High, vaulted ceilings add to the sense of space and light, and oak floors and chic blue and white colour scheme give the decor a timeless appeal. Two of the sofas open into single sofa beds to provide sleeping space for two more guests.
  • The dining area is between the living room and the kitchen, featuring a glass topped table with eight dining chairs.
  • French doors open from the living room onto a deck where there is a table and chairs so that you can enjoy eating outside when you please.
  • Contemporary kitchen with high-quality appliances including a dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, microwave, oven and stove. The oak and white cabinets and oak tops blend stylishly with the rest of the room.

Outside: There is an off-street parking space next to the property. A slipway is on the other side of the parking space, leading directly to the beach. Each floor has a deck or patio area, and there is a flat area of lawn at the side of the house.

Additional information: No smoking. Gas central heating, electricity, towels (please bring your own beach towels) and bed linen are included within the price. There is allocated parking for two cars in the car park. Well behaved dogs are accepted at an additional charge of £50 per pet, per week or short break stay. Short breaks available out of peak season (two night minimum).
