This charming holiday cottage is only five miles east of the ancient city of York, in the friendly village of Dunnington. The local pub and shops are within walking distance while the plentiful attractions of York are within easy reach, as are the Howardian Hills AONB, North York Moors National Park and the coast. Local attractions include Castle Howard and the Yorkshire Air Museum as well as the Jorvik Viking Centre and York Lavender Farm. The one-bedroom cottage is perfect for couples or solo travellers who appreciate space and privacy without sacrificing the convenience of village life. There is a local Bistro, Bakery, Kebab/Pizza takeaway and a Sports Club.There is regular local bus service into York every 30 minutes and there are many very good restuarants and bars within a short distance. There are many local short walks in the area as we are on the Route 66 cycle path, also locally Hassacarr Pond and Hagg Wood.
