About Stable Cottage

Stable Cottage is a welcoming self-catering holiday home in Pembrokeshire, close to Saundersfoot, Wiseman's Bridge and Amroth. It's perfect for couples or families, including those with dogs, as it sleeps four people in two bedrooms with a cabin bed suitable for an extra child, and has an enclosed secure garden for exclusive use of guests. There is lots to do within a small radius of Stable Cottage, with beautiful walks and bike rides accessible from the door. Guests love the cottage's quiet location in the rural village of Stepaside, conveniently located just a short walk from the village shop and pub. It's one of two superb holiday cottages in the grounds of Bangeston Farmhouse. Depending on availability, you can book the two together to accommodate multiple families.

Pembrokeshire is a fantastic year-round holiday destination. Not only does it have beautiful beaches and a spectacular coastal path, but it also has fun family-friendly attractions, picturesque towns and villages, and a rich history evident in the age of places like Pembroke Castle. Ride the waterslides and flumes at Blue Lagoon Water Park, get your thrills on the rollercoaster at Oakwood Theme Park, and admire the vast array of animals at Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo. The nearby town of Narberth has a well-deserved reputation as a destination for foodies, especially when the Friday market or annual food festival is on. Tenby is also popular with three beaches, a scenic harbour, and a great choice of places to eat and drink.

There's no way you can holiday in Pembrokeshire and not spend time on its spectacular coast. Go surfing, coasteering, paddleboarding or kayaking, or explore the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, which follows the coast for 186 miles from Amroth to St Dogmaels. National Trust Stackpole Estate beaches and Barafundle Bay, voted one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, are just over half an hour's drive, giving you even more places to rockpool, sunbathe and swim. Walking is a joy whether around the coast or through the countryside, or you can navigate your way around using Pembrokeshire cycling routes.

Stable Cottage is available for holiday bookings all year round, with short breaks possible outside of peak season. Whether you come for a relaxing week or you plan on filling every day with adventure, you'll find plenty of ways to make your time here unforgettable.
