About St Winifreds at The Old Rectory

St Winifreds sleeps up to four guests and is a detached two bedroom bungalow in the grounds of The Old Rectory, in a fantastic coastal position less than one hundred and fifty yards from Mundesley's stunning sandy beach.

A perfect seaside holiday location at any time of the year for families and couples, Mundesley sits on the Norfolk Coast and has managed to remain unspoilt over the years retaining its seaside charm. It has immense appeal, not only because of its lovely beach lined with colourful beach huts but also due to having shops, pubs and restaurants serving food - all conveniently within walking distance of St Winifreds. Gold Park is also a short stroll away with its large playing field where the younger ones can have fun and play - A holiday location where you can have a rest from driving and make the most of everything that is within walking distance!

The surrounding local area offers plenty of opportunities for outdoor lovers. Try your hand at golf or fishing, discover the beauty of the area on foot or bike; alternatively enjoy a more sedate game of bowls at the village club or a day relaxing on the beach where the children can build sand castles until their hearts are content - there are plenty of opportunities to do as much or as little as you wish.

The bustling popular seaside town of Cromer (famed for its fantastic crabs) is a few miles away and offers lovely shops to browse, places to eat out, a traditional pier with theatre, beautiful sandy beach, pretty promenade gardens, a lighthouse and the RNLI lifeboat station. Sheringham is another of Norfolk's popular seaside towns within easy driving distance and there are numerous attractions to visit locally including National Trusts' Felbrigg Hall, Sheringham Park and Bickling Hall.

St Winifreds is well placed for exploring Norfolk's coastline and beautiful countryside, along with the bustling city life of Norwich which is just half an hour away by car offering superb shopping, art galleries, museums and a great selection of eating establishments to cater for all tastes. Great Yarmouth and the beautiful waterways of the Norfolk Broads are also within easy reach providing endless fantastic days out for the whole family.
