Stoke Villas is a magnificent Victorian holiday home close to Stokes Bay and Gosport, and within easy reach of Portsmouth and Gunwharf Quays. The house is huge, with space for large groups of up to 17 people to sleep in five spacious bedrooms, large reception rooms and a flexible layout that makes it suitable for extended families or groups of friends. You can walk from the house to shops, supermarkets, cafes, restaurants and pubs, including the welcoming White Hart. Hot tub hire is possible - please speak to the owner regarding this and associated costs.
Gosport is a lively seaside town in Hampshire with lots of things to see and do all year round. As well as being a holiday destination in its own right, it is perfect as a base for exploring the wider Hampshire coast and countryside. The town is justifiably proud of its naval heritage with local attractions including the Royal Navy Submarine Museum and Explosion! Museum of Naval Firepower. Visitors also enjoy the award-winning Museum of Diving and the Hovercraft Museum with its fun exhibits. The Waterfront Trail runs for two miles around the coast, linking the submarine and firepower museums with the extra benefit of having panoramic views over Portsmouth Harbour and the Solent.
Gosport offers more than merely a beautiful waterfront. Head inland for lovely footpaths and cycling routes, as well as attractions that include the 1642 Experience where the village of Little Woodham has been recreated to show how life was for locals in the 17th Century. The Gosport Ferry crosses to Portsmouth and Gunwharf Quays every 15-minutes to make it even easier to explore this fantastic part of the UK.
If you're looking for a self-catering house for large groups in Hampshire, Stoke Villas will tick every box. Not only is it in a fantastic location but it has the option of booking a hot tub, and the owner can also suggest a private chef and other catering options if you are planning a special celebratory meal or you want your holiday to be as relaxing as possible. Short breaks and longer stays are available all year round.

Stoke Villas is a period property with original features that include the beautiful central staircase. The owners have decorated the house in a style that is very comfortable for modern guests while staying sympathetic to the age of the house.

Outside: The conservatory at the rear of the house opens onto a private enclosed garden where there is a patio with garden furniture. There is space for a hot tub which can be hired separately - please speak to the owner about this when booking. The garden also has a trampoline and raised lawn area. There is off-street parking for up to eight cars.
Additional Information: All utilities, WiFi, bedlinen and bath towels are provided. A travel cot (no bedding), highchair and stairgate are all available. Short breaks are possible all year round, depending on availability. Stoke Villas is pet friendly and we warmly welcome up to 3 medium sized well behaved four legged friends at an additional cost of £25 each per dog, per week/part week. (However, to be fair to our neighbours no continuous barkers please). Smoking is not permitted.
In addition to the rental cost there is a £500 refundable damages deposit, which is fully refundable within 7 working days of your departure, obviously subject to no significant damages or excessive cleaning.
